This printer completely met my expectations. I had a bad first experience in the 3d printing world with the mendelmax2. It was just too finicky to get setup and printing properly. This thing though lives up to the hype. Largely pre-assembled except from the vertical elements. It really is very well thought out. If you have any experience with 3d printers, you'll find this simple. If you're not mechanically or electrically inclined, it will take you longer because you're surely being overly cautious.

Out of the box this is a good printer. It assembles very easily, and can be up and running within an hour. BUT, I've got two of these now and both of them came with warped beds which made them impossible to level. But adding an auto-bed leveler, like the BL Touch, makes this printer stellar for most users

After waiting for years, I finally decided the cost had come down enough to purchase a 3D printer. After doing a lot of research I decided to purchase the Creality Ender 3 Pro and I have not been disappointed. So far it has been a great printer. The prints come out a lot better than I expected. So far it has been a workhorse, as it has almost been constantly printing since I received it three weeks ago!

Okay, so this is my very first 3D printer. I read a lot online about 3D printers, reviews, specs, and all. I decided to get an Ender 3 Pro because it had good reviews and the price was affordable. There is definitely a learning curve, I don't know if for all 3D printers (I would think so) or only for this machine.

I am a first time 3d printer owner, and this printer came highly recommended... and I have to admit while most of the problems I have had have been simply due to my lack of experience... I was frankly shocked by the lack of support from Creality. the magnetic mat is cool.

This was a great purchase. A really good bang for my buck. There are YouTube tutorials everywhere. Knowledgeable 3D printer owners on YouTube and Reddit can tell you everything you need to know. The only area I had issues with was the 3D printer software. Use Ultimaker Cura for stl files. Then "slice" the stl file into g-code. Then you can use the g-code with Octoprint to actually start the print process. The physical assembly really was not that hard

The old adage, "You get what you pay for!" Can be taken many ways. In this case the value far exceeds the price paid! So value becomes the key word here. There is some assembly involved, but a quick search on You Tube found several great assembly videos which turned the project into a piece of cake! These videos are a must as they will insure the printer works as designed! Once finished we popped in the included SD card, bounced threw the menu's and settled on a print example. We printed the Cat and that took about 4 hours. When finished, it was perfect, no flaws, no gaps, no problems. I am sure this was due to following all of the guide lines by the videos and to the leveling of the build plate. If you are reading this and buy one of these printers this little tip I will give can save you much time and insure success in this final operation. Place the nozzle directly over each screw adjuster and then adjust that screw. I used a thin piece of plastic between the plate and the nozzle. Do all four corners this way (directly above the adjusters). Repeat until there is no longer any required adjustments . You will be rewarded for this precise leveling with a good print.

his is my first 3D printer ever. I'm a technician/ machinist for large format digital printers (5m wide). I have extensive knowledge of precise machine structuring and sorting out issues with huge machines for various printers but 3d printing was new to me. I decided on the ender 3 through Comgrow because of the fantastic customer support mentioned in reviews, my machine luckily had no issues other than a warped bed. This was the only issue I ran into. You can tell from unboxing and smooth assembly that the folks in charge of quality control are on point! A warped bed is not something to hold so much against quality control as I believe shipping had some to do with it.

I am beyond pleased with the Creality Ender 3 Pro. Being my first 3d printer I was hesitant about which model to pick but after several weeks of ciphering reviews, I decided the Ender Pro 3 was best for my bank and production requirements. In researching the assembly of the model on YouTube, I heard there were many concerns about shipment regarding broken cables, loose bolts and unlevel arrangement, etc. Though I found that with all my preparation to expect at least one problem or the utmost worst, Creality sent me an absolutely perfect model with even a few upgrades thrown in to known past mechanical issues. The bed is leveled very well. I dont believe I will have to worry about dampening the sound of this machine either. Also in my first hours of printing there was absolutely no stink of plastic which others expressed concerns about. The whole system seems to be working efficiently and effectively.

I'm sure this printer is wonderful if you've already been 3D printing things for years. I did a bunch of research before buying, looking for a solid entry-level printer for making gaming miniatures.  It has very few safeguards, it can damage itself very easily, and leveling the bed - which is ESSENTIAL, is IMPOSSIBLE. You have to use a piece of paper and slide it under the extruder nozzle "so it has resistance but not too much resistance". Leveling it feels completely subjective, there are no tools to help you, and the community has worked really hard to provide guides that the manufacturer chose not to.

This printer is fantastic for the price if you know what you're doing. Out of the box, the x-axis comes pre-assembled. Underneath the print bed are four rollers. My print bed was wobbly out of the box, but it was pretty easy to fix with the included wrench. I didn't have to do much adjusting other than that, and assembly was pretty straight forward. I installed the upgraded extruder bracket when assembling the printer so I can't compare it with the stock configuration, but I have had no extruder issues. I haven't used the glass print bed much until I set up an auto bed leveler, but it seemed to have pretty good adhesion. It can be a little difficult to remove prints from the glass bed, but the flexible bed works great and has great adhesion as well. The printer is super quiet except for the cooling fans, but those can be upgraded to Noctua fans from what I've heard. The main difference between this printer and other more expensive printers is the lack of premium features, such as auto bed leveling, filament runout sensor, and dual z-axis screws. Its main advantage is its large community and how easy it is to modify. I've set mine up with Octoprint and the BLTouch kit, and it performs like a much more expensive printer.

My son has one of these and I wanted to start learning 3D printing. He recommended this model. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Prints really nice quality products. Now a tip: Don't expect the instructions to be super helpful when assembling. They are not super clear. Let YouTube be your friend on this. There is so much community support for this printer and that adds to the overall value. Watch some videos on how to setup and level the bed. Learn how to address adhesion. Find some sites that will help you print extra parts for the printer (what a concept) that will help handle material feed, cable management, etc. And be prepared that some brands of filaments seem to work better than others. For the price, this is a great printer but you will have to put in some time to get it dialed in.

First of all this printer is not assembled. With only the written directions I would probably have gotten very discouraged . . . But with the help of YouTube I was able to get it set up without incident. My first print was a success and all but 1 (which I think was more a filament issue) have been very nice. Being a newbie to 3D printing, I can say this printer has not let me down and I look forward to learning more about creating things from home. For the price of this printer, I feel like it’s well worth the money!

This machine works great for the money! Amazing print quality given how inexpensive. It is a well-designed piece of equipment. That said, I wish I had realized it did not include auto-leveling capability of the print surface. It takes some time to get it "just right" relative to the print head. If you have the extra cash, I suggest getting the one with auto-level capability. It just makes it so much easier. There is no documentation that comes with the unit. But there is a lot of information online (not even on their website) so it was pretty easy to get going. This was bought for home projects and it has been running non-stop for a bunch of science projects!

Bought this for my 19yo son who is going to college for mechanical engineering, but we assembled it and used it together as he will take it with him when he goes back for 2nd semester. Overall assembly was easy, but the accompanied instructions were not perfect. Luckily there is a lot of info and videos about this product online so was able to get it together pretty quickly. Still could've assembled with just the instructions, but it just would've taken longer. Only printed 3 items so far. The first was Baby Yoda, from The Mandalorian, for my wife. Very nice!!! Good intricate detail and a lot smoother than I was expecting. It did take about 5 hours, but not as bad as I was expecting some people posted times of 50 hours on other printers for similar sized models. My son is excited to use this to prototype some of the things he will work on at school as well as just for fun.

My first printer. Like others, had it set up within an hour, first test print done 1 1/2 hrs after I got the package (was watching the delivery on the app and met the guy as he came off the elevator. What can I say? I was eager for it). Construction is solid, and the defaults were pretty close. As any tool, needs some value tweaking, but that's pretty easy as long as you have a decent digit caliper. Of course there are upgrades (printed a filament guide and am printing a roller bearing spool holder now), but for the value of what you're getting, I feel pretty darn good about it. Can't wait to get it fully dialed in and modded out to get my nephew in this train!

Be aware that there is a learning curve for 3D printing. It is not a quick hobby in which you plug in the machine and start cranking out cool stuff. Having said that, this printer is great for beginners who are willing to do some assembly and fine tuning. The magnetic bed plate works great if you get the bed level (watch some videos - you will level the bed with the print nozzle, not gravity). I have had great success and this printer meets expectations for the price. There are some great instructional videos on YouTube to help get into printing with this printer. Also, you will want to buy some assorted colors of filament - I strongly recommend PLA and you will need 1.75mm filament for this printer. There are other kinds of filament such as PETG and ABS, but they are much more difficult to work with than PLA. Good luck and happy printing.

Been running this thing practically non-stop since buying it a few days ago. Using generic $20 PLA I haven't had any issues whatsoever - no stringing, blobbing, etc. Only blobs were on a screw thread printed at 0.12mm layer height at 220 with no supports, probably would have looked perfect at 200 and a slower travel. This is my first 3D printer, took about 2-3 hours to assemble, and had the test print dog completed within 6 hours of unboxing. There was a small section with rough quality due to me not bed leveling correctly, after fixing that it prints beautifully. It is quite loud however, which is fine until you print a tall thin cylinder, which causes it to basically play scales for hours on end. I have an aftermarket board on the way to fix that, and plan to test TPU this weekend. Super happy with the purchase. Despite cranking default build speed up from 20mms to 45mms, flow from 100 to 110, and temp from 200 to 220, I haven't managed to clog or fail any prints so far. I'm mostly making functional parts such as geode holders, dremel table saw conversion kits, and speaker bass ports/grill frames, so quality is more about accuracy than looks, but when not jacking the layer height and extrusion rate up it prints really pretty parts. The magnetic build plate is an absolute breeze to remove parts from, only issue was when I had the bed way too close to the nozzle and it stuck a bit too well. No Z axis jams yet, tallest print was 6".

This was our first jump into the 3d printer world ... and it has been fun. Ender 3 Pro has been the perfect starter printer for the kids and I. Printer was easy to put together (used Youtube to assemble and modify). With the support of the community (which is huge), we've had the printer running non-stop ... so much so we are kicking around getting one of the Ender 3's bigger brothers. One thing to be aware of is the amount of software (a lot of it is free) that is out there. The 3d modeling and slicing software has a HUGE impact on what you can do and the quality of your prints. So don't be afraid to experiment and find what works best for you. Again the 3d printer community is a valuable resource on this. On a related note, one of my son's has taken to 3d modeling and is now constantly working on different designs and ideas ... which means he's playing less video games!! Yeah!!
